迪斯尼电影(动画片)总是以“天真、烂漫、健康”等形象为广大观众( 儿童)带来欢乐，但很少有人研究探讨这些概念的具体含义(比如电影制作者的价值取向、观众的主体意识以及消费文化下的语境等问题)。本书从后殖民和女权主义的视角解读迪斯尼电影中的“他者”身份，旨在揭示迪斯尼霸权滥觞、兴盛的实质和过程。以话语-权力说论，所谓“欢乐”只不过是人们认同迪斯尼(美国)文化的价值观而已。
作者简介
彭保良，河南省西华县人，1983年毕业于周口师范学院(原周口师专)英语系。广东外语外贸大学英语语言文化学院副教授、博士；教授比较文化、电影文化等专业课程；曾在《现代外语》、《中国翻译》、《解放军外国语学院学报》等杂志发表文学、文化论文十多篇，主编本科教材《当代西方文化学入门》。
